Hail to Mother Mary Jane
Smoke em if you got em
Indulge in nature’s gift to us
Give gratitude as you enjoy
For she can change the world
Puff, puff, pass
To buy a houseboat and run away with my plants and books and dogs and child. Find a dock near the swamp somewhere with the gators, bats, and fish. Venture down every river, lake, gulf, spring, and stream possible. Swim every day and sunbath often and keep learning from nature. Listening to the frogs and the cicadas and Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty on repeat. To become a Bog Witch, feral yet still somehow sexy and hexing any unwanted visitors.

Nature has awoken from the winter’s sleep
The perfect circle of nature’s cycle continues
This phase brings forth life and renewal
May this season bring blessings of peace
May you be surrounded by love
May you grow beyond measure
If the trees and flowers can start brand new
Then so can you
With the sunshine kissing your skin
Let your cares float away
And bury your worries deep in the sand
Let the waves crash into you
And let the salt water heal you
Allow the cannabis to calm your mind
Exhale every stress
Inhale aspirations and desires
Trust in the universe
And it’s divine timing
Repeat after me:
What will be, will be
And what’s meant for me
Will come to me
The Celebration of Light
Honor Brigid with some bread
Begin your spring cleaning
Engrave a candle and light it to represent new life
Go a nature walk and admire the natural beauty
Daffodils, hellebore, and iris for this special day
Set your intentions for the season
Make space in your body for the energetic bursts that will occur
Plant a seed now, and it will sprout for the equinox
The sun is growing brighter on this day
Hello, New Moon in Capricorn
With Saturn and all its rings
We welcome the first of the year
And another angel number portal, 111
May you plant the seeds for a fruitful year ahead
Remember to remain soft in times of hard challenges
Concentrate on your plans, your intentions, and your dreams
Organize the learnings you will need to accomplish your goals
Only set goals you’re willing to put in the work for
Manifesting is essential, but effort is equally important
Enjoy the journey and reflect on the lessons of the past
Blessed be
Next time you pass an oak tree, stop and take a moment to enjoy its presence
The sheer natural beauty that lives within these trees, within its leaves, within its trunk
How majestic and magical they are as they stand tall in their silent glory
With their long branches twisting and wiggling while they reach up towards the sun as if they’re dancing along the sky
Notice the beautiful sea of Spanish moss as it cascades over the limbs and decorates them so beautifully
Watch as the breeze blows and the sunlight playfully sparkles through
And if you’re lucky enough to catch a golden hour under the canopy of a few intertwined closely, enjoy it and feel peace
Truly feel at peace
Is it too much to desire a life of daydreaming all day?
To write down all my thoughts with beautiful and confusing words?
To dance all day as the needle passes along the same grooves of a vinyl that my great aunt swayed to?
To hum along softly with the birds as I water my plants and check the fruits of my labor in the garden?
To play with my child as he learns new skills and words each and every day?
To take long nature walks, never once looking at my phone until the sun begins to set and I realize I’m miles from home?
To lay on the beach all day while sun kisses my skin and brings the freckles to the surface once again?
To leisurely cook a 4 course dinner while sipping on a scotch older than myself?
I’m not made for a girl boss life. I want a girl moss life. Let me lay on the forest floor until I wake up to a deer snacking nearby, while sun glitters down through the branches of the tall pines, and I’m fully at peace
I feel nature calling out to me
She’s telling me to walk barefoot through the grass and reconnect with her
Lay under a tree and watch the clouds float by peacefully
Got lost in the woods and pet some moss and be a mushroom connoisseur
Sit quietly with the sun in my face and just listen to what the wind whispers to me
Run to the beach and take a long nap by the sea
I’ve been trapped in the concrete jungle for far too long
I can sense a shift in frequency
Time to give into my most primitive needs
It’s time to initiate new beginnings
A new year is fast approaching
What has this year brought you?
What do you want in the new year?
Speak up and seek support from your surroundings
Broaden your mind
Chase wisdom
And seek out the truth
Is so often overlooked…
It goes unnoticed.
What have you noticed today?
The sunshine or the clouds?
The breeze or the tiny birds?
The way their face shifted when they saw you?
Who liked your post or sent you a DM?
Which shirt you chose to wear and why?
The colors in the fruits you ate?
The flavors in your morning coffee?
The background vocals in that song?
That the tire was a little low on your ride?
How their tone changed when you asked that question?
The exhaustion under their eyes?
The wrinkles developing in your skin?
The dirt under their finger nails?
What foods you craved when you were hungry?
The way you reacted when you didn’t like something?
Stop.
And take the time to notice.
The world will show you so much more.
The grass is always greener, right?
Unless you’re being sold a dream
Paint the grass green
No one will notice
Add faux flowers and trees
Fake bushes and shrubbery
Perfection, a vision for the magazine
But where are the tiny birds?
The ones who build their nests
High above the breeze
And the bees to pollinate
Buzzing from flower to flower
Gathering pollen on their knees
Or the squirrels
Chasing each other’s tails
Back and forth, a game of tease
They’ve chosen the neighbors lot
The one with the lush ecosystem
The one with flowers and huge trees
But how could that be
They aren’t that intelligent
Bird brains
And a bee is never as busy as it seems
It just can’t buzz any slower
But even a blind squirrel can find a nut
They listen to Mother Nature
Intuition and instinct
Sharp and in tune
So, yes…
You can paint the grass green
But that doesn’t mean
That your garden will bloom
Reds I enjoy for creativity and fucking
Whites pair well with social settings and weed
Rosés for each and every day
Sparkling is best for breakfast
And Desserts makes me giggle and open to play

Look up into the trees
The way the wind blows their branches
How each season reflects change in their leaves
How majestic and beautiful they are
Providers of oxygen and shade
Fruit bearers and nut creators
I can’t explain the healing I receive
From losing myself in the woods
It’s one of my favorite places to be
A forest with the cool stream
Sit along the bank and enjoy the breeze
Inhaling tree with the trees
Feel the sun kiss my cheeks from between the canopy
There’s no better place to just breathe
The forest calls out my name
Especially when my soul needs a reset
Ground with nature
Reconnect with Gaia
Find peace again
